Product Review - Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer

I love the brand Bourjois, I love their foundations, primers, bronzers and lipsticks, but I've never tried any of their concealers and as I've heard good things about the foundation version of this concealer, I thought I'd try it.
I'm on the fence, there are things I like and things I dislike, nothing too major to be fair but still.

What I like...
I like the packaging of the product, I love the red, granted there is a lot of writing on the packaging but yet it doesn't look crowded or a mess.
I like the consistency of it. At first it looks rather thick, but once you start to blend it in it goes on really smooth, it's not cakey at all and it very easy to blend.
I like the fact that it hid my blemishes well and it didn't take much product to do so.

What I dislike...
I don't like the smell. I know it has the whole fruit therapy thing going on, but it smelt like artifical fruit so it wasn't very nice at all.
As I said before, it hid my blemishes well, but it didn't hide the redness. The redness still shone through the concealer which I didn't like. It hid my spots, but not the redness... weird.
It's not good as an under eye concealer, as it is a bit thick, I noticed it really clung to the small lines around my eyes especially when I smiled it was very noticable.
I also dislike the applicatior, it does get quite messy - I would've preferred if it had a brush or sponge tip applicator to make the process easier and less messy.

Overall I do like this product, but I don't know whether I would purchase it again.

Product Review - Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer

This is my holy grail product. I love it, not only is it great at concealing my under eye circles, it's great at illuminating the area and highlighting it. Unlike the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer, this makes my under eye area and any other area which I use it, such as my nose and cupids bow, a shade lighter than my foundation which I love! That is what I would expect from a highlighting concealer, and this one does it wonderfully, my favourite concealer for this by far!

Do you recommend  any concealers that are great at highlighting that I should try out?

Product Review - Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick

Initially my sister was the one to introduce me to this particular lip product. I've never tried any of the Bourjois lipsticks before but when she told me how fab it was I had to try it for myself.
I do not have a bath thing to say about this product.
I love the pigmentation and colour of it, it's a really natural slightly nude, muave/pink shade, so it's perfect for everyday, and one swipe is all you need to get wonderful pigmentation of colour.
It lasts for a reasonably long time, I wore it all day yesterday and only had to reapply once and that was it so that's awesome, a lot of my other lipsticks tend to wear off quite easily especially if I'm eating or drinking etc. but this one didn't.
The texture is really smooth and it's very moisturising which I love, as my lips are always dry it doesn't accentuate it or make it worse, it makes my lips look full and juicy :)

Overall, it's a really great product and is definately worth the money. I'll be purchasing more of these lipsticks in the near future for sure
:)

My Perfume Collection

Altogether I have 15 perfumes, which doesn't sound like that much to be fair, I want more! Lol I love celebrity perfumes, but I also love random ones, and high end branded ones.
My favourtie scent is anything sweet, though that's not to say I won't wear something different, as long as I like it, whatever it is, I'll wear it.

My Perfumes
1. Sex and the City - Love
2. Sex and the City - Midnight
3. The Mortal Instruments - Angelic Power
4. Lady Gaga - Fame
5. Bond Girl 007
6. Katy Perry - Purr
7. Paco Roban - Black XS
8. Katy Perry - Killer Queen
9. Britney Spears - Hiden Fantasy
10. Benefit - So Hooked on Carmella
11. Paul Smith - Floral
12. So?.. Kiss Me
13. Kate Moss - Summer Blossoms
14. Britney Spears - Curious
15. Britney Spears - Fantasy Twist

My Favourites would have to be... Benefit's So Hooked on Carmella, Black XS, Britney Spears Fantasy Twist, Katy Perry Killer Queen and Paul Smith's Floral. The majority of these are quite sweet scents which I love except for Paul Smith's, as the name suggests it is quite floral and perfect for summer and It has been my statement fragrance throughout the summer.

Product Review - Topshop Powder Blush

I'm not a huge wearer of blush, I think I have enough pink in my cheeks that I dont even need to wear any at all, unless I go full coverage, but that doesn't stop me from buying it and as soon as I seen this one in Topshop, I fell in love.

I only have one other blush from Topshop and it's a cream blush called Afternoon Tea, and even though I love it... I prefer this one more. This one is in the shade Good Girl and is a beautiful baby pink shade. It's not chalky or excesively powdery and the pigmentation is wonderful. It also has a slight shimmer to it so it's really flattering when applied and helps to illuminate the look of your skin. It's now my new favourite blush for summer.
I also love the packaging of Topshop products, it's just really simple, white and black - you can not go wrong with that

Topshop is quite an expensive brand so I wasn't surprised to find that their make-up would also be around the same price range and Bourjois or L'Oreal etc, but it is definately worth the money, I love love love it :)

Product Review: Dream Lumi touch Concealer by Maybelline

I'm on the fence about this product, the reason I picked it up was because I wanted to try a new highlighting concealer for around the eye area and what have you - but I was a little disappointed and a little pleased.

What I liked...
Firstly I like the packaging, it's short, sweet and simple with a twistable bottom and a brush tip. I like when concealers have brush tips especially for under the eyes, it means there's less hassel and less mess, which is a big yay in my book.
I also like the covering power of the concealer - it gives quite good coverage for under my eyes which is a must for me, I like to have bright healthy looking skin around my eyes which this concealer does.
I love, how it adds a luminescence to my undereyes (clues in the name) - it gives a nice healthy glow without being too obvious or fake looking.

What I don't like...
I only disliked one thing, and that was the fact it didn't highlight under my eyes - it just, as I said before added a luminescence to the area, I wanted to make the area a shade brighter just to really highlight and define it - but this concealer just didn't carry it out. Which is disappointing because it states it's a highlighting concealer, sad face.

But I do like this product for the reasons I mentioned before and I may repurchase it when it runs out :)
