Jessica GELeration

A few weeks I completed a training course in Jessica GELeration - which is a Gel polish. The training was brilliant, the girls was so insightful and explained everything so that first timers, would be able to follow on with ease and would understand each product and what it's for etc.

The training lasted about 5 hours as it was quite a big class and there were only two trainers so it did take a while to get through everyone and watch everyone do each step. 

We were also offered the training and a kit for a very good price - it was £80 which is a bargain! Below is a picture of the kit and everything we got in it

In the kit we got the Clarify, Erase, Buffer, Nail Shaper, Build, Prep, Start, Finish and a coloured polish. Below is a picture I done of my toes using the colour

This is the lamp which I bought from Sally's in order to do my Gel polish - it's black and I love it!

Jessica is a brilliant brand - not only do they want to provide us with excellent products, they want to help us make our nails the best they can be - which is why each product contains natural vitamins to help nail growth and health. They also have specific products to go with different nail types and problems. 

I really do love this brand, and I intend to buy a lot more colours from them :)

Product Review - e.l.f Studio Line Blush

As I'm sure you all know, I love affordable brands and one of those brands is e.l.f. For the price, the quality is amazing. 

The Studio range from e.l.f. is by far my favourite - the packaging is lovely and sleek and the quality of the products is wonderful - my favourite product from the line is their blushers, which I have four of - but I intend on getting more.

The quality and pigmentation of these is wonderful - they last a very log time on my skin, the colour is true to the product, the come off on the skin the same colour as they are in the packaging - they have a lovely smooth texture and as I have sensitive skin, you would imagine cheap products to irritate - but they don't which is great. 

The only thing I would say is that every blush above has some sort of shimmer to it but Mellow Mauve, which is a bit of a shame because I love matte blushes and as Berry Merry is my favourite - it would've been perfect if it had have been matte. But no matter - these blushes are affordable and worth the money so I would highly recommend these 

Product Review - Max Factor Face Finity All Day Primer

I've been trying this product out for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! The main reason I picked it up was because I was watching one of Tanya Burr's videos and she raved about it and also because it was on offer in Superdrug for only £7.99!

This primer does exactly what it says, it extends the wear of my foundation and concealer etc so that it lasts all day - but it doesn't really do anything else. Yes, it would help to smooth out my skin, but it wouldn't help to minimise my pores or reduce the appearance of fine lines around my eyes etc. but realistically, it doesn't claim to do that, so I'm not all that bothered. And it does come with an SPF of 20 which is an added bonus :)

The consistency of the produc does come out quite thick as you can see from the picture - my hand is tilted and the product hasn't run down, but once it has been applied to the skin it feels quite light which I love. 

If you are someone who needs that extra help or just likes primers that do everything, then this primer may not be for you, but I love it and I would highly recommend to anyone who just wants their foundation to last!

So over the past few weeks, I have accumulated a number of products, some random pieces and a lot of makeup - all from the drugstore as it is my favourite place on earth, so without further a due...  here are the items I have gathered over the past month or so

realTechniques Silicone Liner Brush Review

I picked this brush up because I love realTechniques, I think their brushes are amazing and one of the best, it was also on sale for £5.00 and I have wanted a new brush to apply cream eyeliner for months so I thought, why not?

I do really like this brush, it's pretty flexible so it is easy to run along the lash line, it has a pointed tip also to help create a very thin natural looking line but you can also use the side if you want a thicker one. It does however take a while to get used too, at the start it is a bit hard to use and get the eyeliner on decent looking but practice makes perfect and I really do love it now, I use it everyday for my eyeliner :)

Nicki Minaj Onika Perfume

I got this perfume from my boyfriend at Christmas and it's absolutely gorgeous! It's not quite sweet and it's not quite floral - it's a beautiful combination of both and the balance is perfect.

The bottle is also lovely, y far my favourite one from her collection - I love the black and gold theme, it makes it look expensive and very good quality. 

It's now my favourite perfume :)
