Lottie London

These brushes have only been in my local Superdrug for about a month and when they had a three for two across everything, I decided to add these to the offer. I love new make-up brushes and nothing can beat my realTechniques ones, but I do really like these.
They have quite a selection of brushes and the two I picked up were the blush brush and the tan brush (bronzer). They are incredibly soft and apply the products really nice and evenly distribute it. I also love the packaging, its really cute and girly, the only thing I would say though is, the blush brush, should've been the pink one instead of the blue one, that's my only beef with this.
So all in all, I do really like these and I'm intending to purchase some more from the collection

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit

I'm a little on the fence about this product, there are things that I like and things that I don't. I like the packaging, I think it's really cute, it's not too bulky and it's a good size to take with you if you were going travelling. I like the colour and the tones of the products, they're quite cool toned which I like and there's a very gradual shade difference, it's not to harsh between the bronze shade and the contour shade which makes for a really natural contour. They also blend really nice and look very natural.

What I don't like, is the smell. When I first bought it I thought i was maybe just the packaging or the wee bit of plastic that protects the powders - but now I think it is the actual product which is pretty off putting for me as it doesn't smell the best, though you can't smell if when it's on your face so I guess it's not too bad and when I bought it was on offer for about £5.99 I think, so I can't really complain.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

Here I am wearing my NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and my skin just looks wonderful and healthy with a lovely glow. On my lips I have Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Don't Pink of It (10) which is a gorgeous muted matte pink shade

I have wanted this foundation for ages and unfortunately no where in Northern Ireland sells it and to be honest, I didn't want to buy it online in case it came broke or something, so I decided to wait until I went to Birmingham to get it.
I got the shade Punjab which is Medium 1 and it was £31...... pretty expensive I know, but that's around the standard price for a high end foundation and it was totally worth it.

The coverage is really nice, I would say it would medium to definitely buildable, it gives the skin a really nice luminosity/dewy glow making the skin look lovely and healthy. It blends really nice into the skin as well and doesn't appear cakey even when I build it to full coverage.
Overall, this foundation is everything I wanted it to be and I will definitely be purchasing it again, maybe even online! :)

Weekend Away - Birmingham

As strange as this may sound, I have never been to England, ever. I have always wanted to visit and explore but the opportunity had never came up until my boyfriend's Dad's Wedding and we were able to go from Friday to Tuesday. It was a great experience and it was a little overwhelming - there are just so many people and they were all quite frankly, a little bit rude haha but anyways, it was a great experience.

We didn't do anything extravagant but we did go to Greggs and The Bull Ring Shopping Center and oh my God, Greggs is to die for, the cupcakes and buns all looked amazing and they were so cheap s well! And the Bull Ring was just something else, it was huge and there was so many shops I was just blown away...

The wedding was also a beautiful ceremony - the bride and groom looked wonderful and the eveneing do was also really great, it was very laid back and fun and the food was delicious which is always a bonus :)

My cupcake from Greggs :)

Spring/Summer Makeup Shopping

So I may have gotten a little excited when I got paid.... I have been dying to get some new makeup and with lack of money rolling in - you can be well assured that when I got a decent amount, I may have went a little overboard. But ah well, it's done now :)

I picked up quite a few things from Superdrug as they were having a 3 for 2 on all of their makeup - and offers just ruin my bank account. But I picked up 3 of the single eyeshadows from Revlon, a Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipstick from Bourjois, Makeup Revolution Setting spray and blush, a Barry M contour kit and two lottie london make up brushes

I then picked up two of the Tanya Burr lip glosses from Gordon's Chemist

And finally, I got the most amazing, perfect, clean Spring/Summer bag ever! I got this from Newlook and it is amazing! Its rucksack and it's mine <3

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation and Primer

As I'm sure I have said quite a few times, I adore L'Oreal and it's fast becoming my favourite drugstore brand and without doubt, I absolutely love this combo! This foundation and Primer is gorgeous and if you were to wear them on their own, they look great as well.
I bought them together when there was a 3 for 2 which I also done a blog post on which you can find here. The foundation retails for £10.99 and primer is £9.99 which is a tad bit more expensive than other brands like Rimmel and Maybelline.
The primer is gorgeous, it has almost a silver appearances and when it's applied to the skin it gives it such a healthy and radiant appearance - without looking oily or greasy.
The foundation is also very radiant without looking oily, it just makes your skin look so healthy and beautiful and as if it's glowing from within. It has I'd say a medium to definitely a builable full coverage as it does a very good job at covering the redness on my cheeks.

Here is a picture of the primer and foundation together - as you can see my skin looks flawless and radiant and I'm absolutely in love! You all need to try this combo :)

Rimmel - Rita Ora Spring Collection

As you can see I only have five from the collection and I absoloutely love them! The colours I have are, Rain Rain Go Away which is a really muted pastel grey shade, Peachella which is a lovely peach shade, Daisy Days is a really lovely lemon shade - I know it doesnt look it in the photo but thats just the instagram filter, Sweet Retreat which is a lovely pastel baby pink and Wild-er-Ness which is a gorgeous lilac shade.
The colours are all pastel/spring shades which are gorgeous, the pigment is also lovely and the colour comes out really well and opaque on the nails.
The one thing I don't like is the brush, it is almost tapered as some of the bristles are short on the outside and longer in the middle so it makes the initial application a little streaky, so you do need to apply 2/3 coats - but other than that, I love these and you should really check them out!
