No7 Ultimate Eye Palette

No7 for me, has some of the best Christmas presents on the market - with a wide range of items for both men and women and varying prices, everyone can afford to get someone something they'll truely love and along with Boots' amazing 3 for 2 Mix and Match across their Christmas range - you're spoilt for choice and you can even get yourself something as well!

So with that being said, I decided to treat myself to something when I was buying presents for other people and I decided to pick up the Ultimate Eye Palette which retails at £20 and as it was the cheapest, I got it for free!

This palette is absoloutely gorgeous! With 20 shades mixed between mattes, shimmers and satins - there is so much versatility within this palette, not to mention how gorgeous and versatile the shades are themselves - you can go daytime glam, evening glam or full on glam on the rocks.
If you are looking for a lovely affordable present for someone or something for yourself - you should definitely check out No7's range

Make-up Items I got for Christmas

I thought I would do an individual post on the make-up items I received at Christmas :)

These are all of the beauty items I received, as you can see, I did get some new brushes from realTechniques and ecotools - which I adore.
I also got the Naked palette from Urban Decay - I had to get it, I have the second and third so it was a must for this one - I love it
I got the Naked Illuminated highlighter from Urban Decay - it is absolutely gorgeous, by far my favourite highlighter
I then got the Smash Box Photo Finish Primer - I love this, I used on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve and it is wonderful
Finally I got a mini eye shadow palette from No7, the colours in this palette are gorgeous and so it shte packaging. In the picture it looks pink but it is more rose gold - beautiful.

I will be going more in depth with all of these products along with my thoughts so keep an eye out :)

First Impression - MUA Elysium Palette

I am in love with this palette. I got this from Superdrug which MUA is only exlusive too and it retails for only £6. Bargain!
For it being £6, the pigmentation and quality of the shadows is wonderful, even the lighter shades! I also love the fact that there is a range of matte and shimmer shades - there are 4 mattes and 6 shimmers each of which are very beautiful colours - perfect for Autumn/Winter or even the summer.
You also get a duo eyeliner pencil, one side is black and the other is a really nice natual pink shade, a perfect alternative if you don't want to wear white as it is really noticable.
All in all, this palette is now my go to for eyeshadows, I highly recommend it :)

Superdrug Haul

I love Superdrug, it's probably my favourite drugstore ever, they always have amazing offers which I just have to get. I did pick up a few items the other week so I thought I'd show them to you guys :)

I purchased the eyeshadow stick, bronzer and lip butter from Collection all for £2.50! They were on sale, I almost died. The eyeshadow stick is lovely, you can see a swatch of it below, it's really iridescent and helps to illuminate my tearducts and brow bone. The bronzer is also gorgeous - it has a slight shimmer and as it's a mosaic, it helps to add extra dimension with the different shades. The lip butter crayon is a really lovely plum colour, its pigmentation is lovely and it lasts quite a good few hours - all are brilliant for the price! I also picked up the Little Mix love eyeshadow palette for £3.99 and it is so nice, the shades are lovely and really pigmented.

There are 5 shimmer shades and one matte

Shade 2 - Radiant

Vanilla Sky 1

4 Perfect Plum
I then purchased another Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stain in 040 Shanghai Sizzle - it's a beautiful red shade, it's really glossy and moisturising on my lips, I love it. Plus it was on sale for £5.99! Bargain

Brand Review - Technic

I'll be honest, I've never heard of this brand before and I only came across it because my work decided to bring in some make-up to help boost sales, and this is the brand they brought it. So far, I've been pleasently surprised, when I swatched the shadows on my hand while I was in work I was shocked, the pigmentation is wonderful and so are the colours in general, I will say though that the shadows may be a tad chalky, and I would guess that there would be a lot of fall out during application, but I don't mind that. For £1.80, what more could I expect? There were three palettes available, Nude, Bronze and Smokey; I got the nude and bronze because I don;t really wear grey/black smokey eyes so it would have just been a waste but so far I'm loving the palettes that I did purchase. I will say though that I would have preffered if the Nude palette had one matte colour as the Bronze and Smokey palettes did, but no matter.
For the nail polishes - I was immediately drawn to this colour, it's in the colour Indian Ocean and to me, it really does look like the perfect colour to represent the Indian ocean. I also love the fact there are two ends, it really adds the polish and I just couldn't help but by it, plus it was only £2.00! bargain! There were four of these polishes in total, but the others didn't really catch my eye, but considering how lovely this one was, I may just have to get them anyway!
