Revlon UltraHD Matte Lip Colour - Review

For some time now I have been really into liquid lipsticks, especially matte as this is the big trend at the minute and being a make-up lover, I have to jump on the band wagon and embrace it. So when I seen that Revlon had released a new lip product, I had to get my hands on them and I'm so glad I did.
These retail for £8.99 each and they have 7 shades - as Revlon was on offer in Boots for 3 for 2 I decided to only picked up 3 of my favourite shades.

The packaging of these products is lovely - its a frosted glass bottle with silver detailing so it looks and feels like very good quality.
The product itself is a dream, it has a slight sweet scent which I love, the formula is very moisturising and velvety - even when it dries to a matte finish, it doesn't dry out my lips or make them uncomfortable which is a big plus. It also doesn't go patchy or rub off around the inside of my mouth which is great, and it lasts all day/night long! The colour payoff is amazing also, with one swipe you get a very opaque colour so this will last me a very long time.

Overall, I think this product is great and as it's from the drugstore, its widely available and affordable so go check it out! :)

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation and Primer

As I'm sure I have said quite a few times, I adore L'Oreal and it's fast becoming my favourite drugstore brand and without doubt, I absolutely love this combo! This foundation and Primer is gorgeous and if you were to wear them on their own, they look great as well.
I bought them together when there was a 3 for 2 which I also done a blog post on which you can find here. The foundation retails for £10.99 and primer is £9.99 which is a tad bit more expensive than other brands like Rimmel and Maybelline.
The primer is gorgeous, it has almost a silver appearances and when it's applied to the skin it gives it such a healthy and radiant appearance - without looking oily or greasy.
The foundation is also very radiant without looking oily, it just makes your skin look so healthy and beautiful and as if it's glowing from within. It has I'd say a medium to definitely a builable full coverage as it does a very good job at covering the redness on my cheeks.

Here is a picture of the primer and foundation together - as you can see my skin looks flawless and radiant and I'm absolutely in love! You all need to try this combo :)

Max Factor CC Colour Corrector

I bought this along with the Max Factor Liquid Illusion Foundation which I have done a review on which you can find here
This product retails for £8.99 - which I think is pretty reasonable considering how well of a job it does. I picked up the Under eye corrector because I do find it quite difficult to find a concealer which conceals them, and I know they may not look that bad in the picture, but they are a bit darker in real life. It has a slight yellow tone which helps to counteract the blue hue in my under eye circles really well.
So the main reason I got this, was to layer it, they way I wear it is, I apply it after my primer and before my foundation and then once my foundation is applied I use my Maybelline age rewind concealer. I find that layering it like this really helps to add the coverage I need without it being cakey. It is incredibly easy to blend out and it doesn't make my under eye feel dry like I've experienced with other "crayon" type concealers. It is also really brightening which I love and it helps to highlight the area.

You can see that my under eye circles have been concealed and they are a lot brighter and awake looking
I do really love this concealer and I use it everyday - when I wear make-up and even without make-up, so I will definitely be trying a few more of these.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation

I use the sponge that came with the foundation to apply it as I find it is the easiest and best way
I got this foundation along with a creme puff blush and the CC corrector for under they eyes on a 3 for 2 offer in Boots. The foundation retails for £12.99, which I will admit, I thought it was a little bit pricey.
I really do like this foundation though, I love the consistency and texture of it and as it states, it has a liquid illusion feel to it which I would have to agree with, when it is first applied it is really cooling on the skin and does feel like a liquid but then it drys to almost a powder feel, so you don't need to set it, which is handy.

It gives a decent amount of coverage, as you'll be able to see from the pictures below, it does even out my skin tone and hides the redness on my cheeks, though I would still need to spot conceal which I don't mind, that's what concealer is for not foundation. I would say though that it would definitely be build-able to a fuller coverage.

Before the makeup application - you an see I have quite a bit of redness and a few pesky spots

The coverage is very good, though I do need to use a concealer just to add a bit of extra coverage on my spots
It does give my skin a very nice glow, making it look very natural and healthy. I would highly recommend this product if your looking for a new foundation, it is definitely one of my drugstore favourites

Sleek Face Form

I'm going to be honest and say I haven't tried that many Sleek products, I only have two of their lipsticks but I have heard so many good things about them and their products, and when I seen that they had this product in the shade I wanted (Medium) I knew I had to get it.
This product retails for £9.99 and can be found in larger Superdrug Stores

The first thing I fell in love with was the packaging, I love the matte black with the shiny Sleek on the front, it makes it look and feel expensive and sophisticated.

The pigmentation of this palette is wonderful, as they are powders I was a bit weary that they might be a bit chalky, but they are very smooth and glide on and give a wonderful pay off. I will be honest and say that I don't really use the blush shade, as I don't think I would be able to pull it off, at least not until summer where I want to look very bronzed and sunkissed, but other than that, I really do love this palette and for £9.99 you can't go wrong!

Maybelline Super Stay 24 Colour - Review

From top to bottom - Always Crimson, Red Alert and Soft Taupe

Step 1 - The colour

Step 2 - The Balm

I bought one of these a few weeks ago which I had show in one of my haul posts, and I absolutely loved it. The first colour I got was Always Crimson 575 and I wore it none stop thanks to the beautiful Youtuber Amanda Ensing who sported this kind of lip colour a few times in her videos and on her instagram - it's the perfect deep red/brown shade and it also made my teeth so white. Because I loved it so much, I decided to go for a classic red shade so I got Red Alert 560. And the final shade I have is Soft Taupe 615 which I love love love! The reason I wanted something of this shade is because I have seen so many Youtube videos which hosts Limecrime's Velvetine in Cashmere and I thought this shade from Maybelline was the perfect dupe!

I really do adore these products, they retail for £7.99 in Superdrug and Boots, the colour payoff is phenomenal - and it the product is also very build-able, the lasting power of these is also amazing, I wore Always Crimson the other day for around 9 hours and I didn't have to top up once - it's amazing. I also love how it has the two steps - the balm is so moisturising and feels lovely on the lips without making them sticky.
I would highly recommend this product, it's a 10/10 for me! And below is just a picture of how Soft Taupe looks on the lips :)

Product Review - Max Factor Face Finity All Day Primer

I've been trying this product out for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! The main reason I picked it up was because I was watching one of Tanya Burr's videos and she raved about it and also because it was on offer in Superdrug for only £7.99!
This primer does exactly what it says, it extends the wear of my foundation and concealer etc so that it lasts all day - but it doesn't really do anything else. Yes, it would help to smooth out my skin, but it wouldn't help to minimise my pores or reduce the appearance of fine lines around my eyes etc. but realistically, it doesn't claim to do that, so I'm not all that bothered. And it does come with an SPF of 20 which is an added bonus :)
The consistency of the produc does come out quite thick as you can see from the picture - my hand is tilted and the product hasn't run down, but once it has been applied to the skin it feels quite light which I love.
If you are someone who needs that extra help or just likes primers that do everything, then this primer may not be for you, but I love it and I would highly recommend to anyone who just wants their foundation to last!
